Hello! My name is Irvin Medrano. I’m a graphic designer & photographer based out of West Texas.
I’ve worked in the graphic design industry for about 8 years, but I’ve been tinkering with Adobe software and cameras for over 15 years.
I’m exceptional at photo retouching and manipulation, skilled with digital tracing and vector illustration. And I know basic video editing and motion graphics. Like any designer, I love playing with typography and color, and I strive to design in a way that communicates strongly using hierarchy and balance.
I’d like to think that I’m fast and efficient, highly creative and I bring a positive attitude with me everywhere. I always welcome a good challenge, am a lifelong learner and love to help others. I pride myself in my kindness, honesty, and communication skills.
I graduated from Texas Tech University in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in Fine Art, with an emphasis in graphic design. I completed an internship as part of my coursework there, working with the marketing office of the Recreational Sports Center. I then moved on to work in a sign shop for two years, and most recently I worked in-house marketing for an bev-alc ecommerce site for four and a half years.
In my free time I like to spend time outdoors; hiking, biking, swimming, camping, or otherwise just enjoying a good view. I also love cooking, reading, looking at art, driving and going on roadtrips, playing video games, drone-piloting. I’ve dabbled with carpentry, welding, wheel-throwing/ceramics, and oil painting. I want to keep learning and trying new things.
